no hidden costs, commissions or wasted time.

That's why we're building FixThatNow:

📌 Short Summary for Journalists

FixThatNow is a service platform with Dutch roots that connects customers with reliable professionals in their area. Job notifications are immediate for Pro, after 30 minutes for Plus and 120 minutes for Free. The platform operates without commissions, expensive leads or spam: customers receive a maximum of 5 quotes, and providers keep 100% of their revenue. FixThatNow was built on a personal mission — born from the founder’s experience of starting as a cleaner and seeing both professionals and customers held back by inefficient platforms, marketing costs and a lack of visibility. FixThatNow deliberately chooses transparency, simplicity and fairness.

📘 Medium-Length Story for the Press

FixThatNow didn't start in an office, but in cleaning.
The founder worked for years in hotels, restaurants and companies, and saw firsthand how professionals struggled to stay visible — and how customers sometimes waited weeks for a reliable answer.
Later, when his wife started working as a self-employed cleaner, the problem became even clearer:
It's not the work that's hard, it's finding clients.
This led to the mission behind FixThatNow:
Building a platform that truly supports professionals, doesn't overwhelm customers with spam, and where everyone works without commissions or expensive leads.

📖 Full Founder Story — “From Cleaner to Founder”

💚 FixThatNow is a mission, not a marketplace
In 2018, I came to the Netherlands with one suitcase and no plan. I found work in cleaning—hotels, restaurants, businesses. It was hard but honest work. When my wife later came to the Netherlands and started as a self-employed cleaner, we finally saw the real problem:
👉 Anyone who doesn't understand advertising or websites will remain invisible.
👉 Good professionals don't know how to reach customers.
👉 Customers wait days or even weeks for a single quote.
👉 And platforms with commissions or lead packages only make it more difficult.
We started our own company—first Excellent Shine, then Clean It Now. Within six months, we generated over 1,500 leads, 130+ customers, and €50,000 in revenue. But everywhere we saw the same problem:
Good professionals cannot grow because they have no system to find customers.
Customers don't know who is trustworthy.
The market is not working.
And then everything clicked.

⚡ The Discovery
The problem is not the cleaning.
The problem is the connection.
Platforms sell the same lead to 5–10 providers.
Customers are being inundated with calls.
Professionals can waste money on poor or duplicate leads.
And whoever pays the most wins.

🛠️ What we build
I didn't want another "lead platform." No commissions. No spam. No chaos.
I wanted to build the platform we needed when we started.
FixThatNow is that system:
Professionals keep 100% of their turnover
Customers receive a maximum of 5 quotes, clearly presented and without spam
Providers choose which jobs they respond to
No commissions. No expensive per-lead charges.
Free offers, with a Free plan and optional Plus or Pro plans billed annually.
FixThatNow is built for people, not clicks.
💬 “I started as a cleaner.
Now I’m building the platform I needed then.”

🔍 Why FixThatNow Matters: Its Netherlands Market Background

✔ Strong need for local professionals

The Netherlands has a structural shortage of skilled workers in cleaning, odd jobs, electrical work, plumbing and painting.

✔ Customers are being bombarded with spam

Existing platforms share customer details with 5–10 providers, leading to a flood of unwanted phone calls.

✔ High marketing costs hinder small businesses

SEO, advertising and websites are expensive.
Many self-employed people disappear from the market.

✔ Local councils seek partners who support local employment

FixThatNow helps self-employed professionals and small businesses become visible, creating a direct local impact.
